Girl around town

This shoot was done in lanes of Khan market in Delhi. Khan market, in Delhi, is famous for lots of restaurants, book shops, boutiques, home decor shops, gift shops, also there are high end fruit and vegetable shops that sell exotic and imported food items. It is upmarket and expensive area, where you see lots of expats. There is also an inside or so called, back lane, where this shoot was done. The street is not maintained so well. We chose this street, so that we could shoot more peacefully. This lane also has lots of restaurants and some shops that sell artificial jewelry or clothes etc.
There is officially free parking in Khan Market. You see uniformed boys helping you to park. Their uniforms clearly say, "Free Parking". But unless you tip them a big amount, it is impossible for you to find a parking spot.
Despite, our Prime Minister's endeavor to make India clean, an upmarket place like this has streets laden with garbage etc.
When we bloggers from India shoot outdoors, this is the kind of view. We try to take tight shots and hide a broomstick in the background or crop the street that is shabby. But that is India. This is what you see in Delhi's upmarket street.

What I wore: Woolen suit with Kashmiri embroidery on it. Bought from one of the shops in Connaught Place, Delhi.
Bag: Desigual.
