I reached Srinagar yesterday. I am staying in The Lalit and loving it here. It truly is a paradise.
The air is pure and fresh. It is pristine beauty.
Srinagar did not seem so safe. All around one saw armed army personnel. But inside the hotel, is a different world. It is very safe, luxurious and super comfortable. The staff is extremely hospitable and courteous. The food is delicious. The interiors are cosy and typical Kashmiri.
The best is the health club and the spa. They have an amazing heated swimming pool. I can fly to Srinagar any time just to use this pool again.
