Here are some inside pics of my trip to Varanasi. I would highly recommend hotel Brijrama palace located on the ghats of Ganga- a heritage hotel with great decor, food, hospitality, location and amenities. 

We are currently curating sarees from weavers in Benaras. Ever since the lockdown, this is the first trip the team has made. We are taking all necessary precautions but are endangering ourselves too during this pandemic. We want to sustain the handloom weaving industry. We want to tell them in person that we are there for them. That they should continue weaving. We want to buy from them, encourage them and uplift their spirit. We earnestly appeal to you to support the handloom industry and the weavers in our country. Buy and wear handloom. It is a pride of our country.  The first saree that is being showcased is our top-of-the-line, super limited edition Rangkaat saree. The pastel colors (rang) are joined with a kaduwa weave. This cannot be replicated. Pallu is finished neatly with tassels. Not for sale I am personally a fond of sarees. This lovely saree is from my personal collection. Pashmina silk saree. This saree is a gift from my mom and dad. 

This is a throwback post from my trip to varanasi. It is always a pleasure to meet weavers and work  with them.
