Phulkari sarees from Punjab are cheerful sarees. These are hand embroidered by the ladies in the villages of Punjab. Some of my previously worn phulkari can be seen here , here, here  and  here . 

Originally woven in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal, and today in Bishnupur, balucharis are rich silk  sarees  characterized by intricate weaving in the pallu and borders, depicting stories from epics, historical and religious texts.  It  is known for depictions of mythological scenes on the  pallu  of the sari. It often  has depictions from scenes of Mahabharat and Ramayana.

Gossamer silk chanderi saree. Interesting combination of floral and stripes on pallu and border. With subtle zari on the border.

This is cotton Uppada saree. Uppada Jamdani Sari is a silk sari style woven in Uppada of East Godavari district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It was registered as one of the geographical indication from Andhra Pradesh by Geographical Indications of Goods Act, 1999. Uppada Jamdani saris are known for their lightweight.
