Healthy skin and hair during monsoon

I had written a post for monsoon indoor workout here.
One needs to be very careful about one’s diet and health during monsoon to have a healthy skin. There are many infections, virus and bacteria that can affect the body, lower the immunity and result in bad, flaky skin and hair fall.
Here are few tips:
Drink lots of water. It is hot and humid weather. Replenish the fluids.
Wash all fruits and vegetables very carefully. There are lots of worms during rainy season.
Avoid raw vegetables. Cooking can kill the germs.
Include turmeric, garlic, ginger, jeera powder, cardamom, and coriander. These are good for digestion and also kill bacteria.
Avoid roadside and street food.
Exercise regularly. It builds immunity and the skin glows after cardio workout.
Also when the body is warm, the virus affects it less as compared to when the body is cold.
Avoid wet clothes. It increases the chances of fungal infection.
Clean and exfoliate the skin. Apply oil-absorbing tissues. Multani mitti is a good face pack to apply during monsoon. If your skin is too dry, you can add few drops of sandalwood oil to it. Also you can add little sandalwood powder and turmeric powder to it.
Since in rains the level of humidity in atmosphere is very high so evaporation from the face is minimum. So one should wash his or her face as much as possible with mild soap. In very humidity we should wash our face 4 to 5 times a day.
