You won't believe this: Hindu mahasabha leaders want Indian item girls to be declared prostitutes

This is weirdest of weird statements by politicians. Navin Tyagi, general secretary of UP unit of Hindu Mahasabha demands that actresses doing item numbers should be declared prostitutes. According to him, they earn money by spreading filth in society and by being obscene.
Which means Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Priyanka Chopra, among many other Bollywood actresses, should be declared as sex workers.
To take a step further he demanded that college girls should be bannned from wearing jeans and skirts and carrying mobiles. He said that he will take this matter to court.

 Our view: PM Narendra Modi has always emphasized his vision for modern India. We are a democratic country. Such statements are made in Taliban not in India. We want to see progressive India. Not mindset like this where women are suppressed.
