This year, Masaba Gupta announced her retirement from Satya Paul. This is her last collection in collaboration with Satya Paul, who have collaborated with Disney, India.The collection entitled 'MonoPop' features the official Disney mascot Mickey Mouse and his love interest Minnie. Every bit as pop as one can imagine the combination of Masaba Gupta and Disney, the collection sticks to the primary theme of the Disney color palette of red, white, black and yellow.
While we found the tunics and bags quite interesting and cute, the sari and scarf look not so much. Our stylists will not recommend Disney print sari or scarf to anyone. Disney print on a sari for us is Nay. It seems a paradox.
