Amaya Hills: Kandy

What a sweet place it would be whose name is Kandy. Kandy is the nicest or the most beautiful town in Sri Lanka. It is set 488 meters above the sea level. It is most visited place after Colombo. There are numerous temples and shrines in and around Kandy, housing rare paintings, frescoes and stone carvings. There is royal botanical garden at Peradeniya that has rare collection of tropical and temperate exotic and indigenous flora and an orchid house with the largest collection in Asia.
The town has lot of character, nice weather, safe city, less crime, religious people who are primarily Buddhist. It is a very English town.
Check the pictures of the hotel I am staying in. It is called Amara Hills. It is one of the best properties in Kandy. The view from my room, when I get up in the morning is breath taking. I wake up to the view of hills and clouds.
