The style of wearing clothes has a big impact on our mind, body, soul and on the society also. We need to analyze the subject more deeply. I have written a post about the scientific reasons for wearing a saree here.
It is not surprising, how the warps and wefts of a saree create unique bonds of friendship amongst women. We are like-minded women who enjoy each other's company, are totally non-judgemental, appreciate each other's attires and personalities, chill together and create ripples of laughter and cheer. It was a perfect weather with lush green surroundings and ample food. There were a myriad of colours and weaves and my friends looked like apsaras (angels). Meeting them is just a positive energy that emancipates from simplicity, dignity and poise.
