Guruji's Knowledge Sheet: Friendship For A Cause

Examine your friendships, they are often for a cause. There are several reasons for your friendships:

1. You make friendships because you have common enemies. Fear and threat to survival can bring people together.

2. You make friendships because you have a common problem. You talk about your problems and become friends. For example, sickness, job dissatisfaction, etc…

3. People get together because they have common interests. For example, through business or a profession (doctors, architects, social workers, etc…)

4. You make friends because you have common tastes. You have similar tastes in sports, movies, entertainment, music, hobbies, etc…

5. People become friends because of compassion and service. Out of compassion and pity for someone, you become friends with them.

6. People become friends merely because of long-term acquaintance.

Brave are those who nurture friendships for only friendship’s sake. Such friendships will never die nor become soured for it is born out of one’s friendly nature. Only through wisdom can one become friendly by nature.

Now about the outfit.

Derhy, my favorite store, is on Sale. So I went there today. What I bought will be showcased in some other post. But where I got confused and need help in selecting, will be showcased here.
Now I saw this very pretty dress in linen. But the problem is that it was available in three gorgeous, beautiful colors. I tried 3 of them at least 3 times and still could not decide which one to go for. I was shopping alone. So there was no friend to help either. So I just clicked pictures and thought of asking my blog friends for the opinion. Which one would you say?
Options are- A, B, C or none.

  1. Very well written. A friend is someone who is there for you when he'd rather be anywhere else.

  7. I make friends with someone when my impulse says that it would be a great one. I can smell if I won't get along with a person even from a distance.
