I ran half marathon today with decent timing. It was a trial run. Now my knees are screaming in pain and I am limping. But it was a good feeling.
What really helped were my bicycling friends who cycled on the same route and offered water and even chocolate.
The run was followed by a breakfast in the stadium.
Tips for runners:
1. Have a good sleep before running and have adequate rest.
2. Eat extra carbs a night before.
3. Have almonds and protein shake before running. It really helps.
4. Pace yourself. Do not over speed.
