We are currently curating sarees from weavers in Benaras. Ever since the lockdown, this is the first trip the team has made. We are taking all necessary precautions but are endangering ourselves too during this pandemic. We want to sustain the handloom weaving industry. We want to tell them in person that we are there for them. That they should continue weaving. We want to buy from them, encourage them and uplift their spirit. We earnestly appeal to you to support the handloom industry and the weavers in our country. Buy and wear handloom. It is a pride of our country.
The first saree that is being showcased is our top-of-the-line, super limited edition Rangkaat saree. The pastel colors (rang) are joined with a kaduwa weave. This cannot be replicated. Pallu is finished neatly with tassels. You can check the video for more information about this masterpiece.
